RULES
ForcePlay is a pay-to-rank public jukebox for short clips. Visitors do not sit through full songs. The auction is the entertainment. The player is the trophy.
Rank
Rank is total dollars bid. Highest bid is #1. #1 is featured as Now Forcing. Equal bids: the older listing stays higher. No ads, no API keys, no revenue share. Rank is the bid. Nothing else.
Bids
Whole US dollars only. Minimum $2. Increments of $1. Paying less than #1 still lists you at whatever rank that bid can take. Enter the same media URL again to raise it back to #1. The new total must be at least $1 above the current top bid; you only pay the difference vs the clip's existing total. Someone else cannot steal that clip by listing the same URL as a new row — same clip, one bid total.
What you can submit
A public media URL. No captions, no bios. The clip's name comes from YouTube / TikTok / SoundCloud / X, not from you. Allowed: YouTube (including Shorts and timestamped links), TikTok, SoundCloud, and X videos (x.com/user/status/…/video/1). Rejected: link shorteners, chat invites (Discord / Telegram / WhatsApp), NSFW / adult, obviously non-media pages. Tracking query params are stripped except YouTube v, t, and start. Listings are keyed by canonical media id (example: youtube:dQw4w9WgXcQ).
The player
Short clips, 15–60 seconds. We embed; we do not host files. YouTube uses a youtube-nocookie embed, starts at the timestamp if present, modest branding, muted autoplay when the platform allows it. If the embed fails: title, link, open to play. The metric on #1 is impressions (times it was shown), not completed listens.

No login, comments, uploads, playlists, accounts, admin, email, crypto, decay, takeover (2× lock), or analytics dashboards.
